This seems extremely inefficient and expensive to send everything 3 hours away to be sorted and then taking a week or more to be delivered to its destination. Tell me why I should continue to use the United States Postal Service when this occurs too frequently.

A check to my life insurance company that I mailed 5/5/2016 has yet to arrive. Today is Tuesday August 16, 2016 I went to my local USPS in RANSOMVILLE NY.

Their hours of operation are closed from to I arrived at the doors were locked and lights were off.

Could improvements make the tools more user-friendly?

Are com and 1-800-ASK-USPS useful, easy-to-use tools for customers?

It is very expensive and inefficient to transport the mail so far and to experience so many delays that patrons are seeking methods other than USPS to deliver payments in a timely manner.
